Responsibilities: Translating the RFQ- and Supplier Information to a BOM (Bill of Material) Ensuring relevant Input Factors for the calculation (Material, Labor Costs, Machine Minute Rates, Overhead Structure, ...) Cost Target Calculation (Piece Price, Tooling Costs and Supplier Development Costs) Negotiation Support Cost Comparison between Target Calculation and Supplier Quotation Cost Optimization activities Know-How sharing within the Cost Engineering Team Requirements: 5 years experience or more in cost engineering in automotive field . Calculation capability for complex supplier parts like eATS , display, One-box. Knowledge of Chinese supplier and Chinese market (working experience in China is mandatory). Solid knowledge of automotive design and its components.
